This means Warhol

If Everyone's Not a Beauty Then Nobody Is

I just finished watching 'The Bucket List' featuring Morgan Freeman & Jack Nicholson. What made me to watch this movie was after Louis gotten a book- 101 Things to Do Before You Die by Richard Horne. Not that it was the most touching emotional movie out there but it got me thinking. If you knew how much time you left, what will you do differently? I think I just gave myself 60 more years; 12 '5-year-plans' that could be drawn back to back. But those will not be the things I will do differently I guess.

Well before the movie and the book, Ben, Pris and I went to an art exhibit showcasing Andy Warhol's life works and adventures. He was a sudden role model. And I'm now intrigued by the wonders of silkscreen.

I was not in the knowledge that a skating rink exist in MBS- looks fun:

Yeah, it was a night we did not went into alcohol frenzy. We were lost at first, but Louis's book came in handy. We tried flipping randomly but somehow we either hit upon alcohol, driving at top speed or making enough money to complete the whole book. All seemed dangerous. After all, we did end up in a Irish pub for a pint of Guinness, Happy St Patrick's. Peaceful night, let's all hope for Christmas to come soon.

Are you a thinker, or a feeler?

Mind over heart, heart over mind
You are given less than 3 seconds to decide. If you think that you are a thinker please step to the left. If you feel that feeling right is more appropriate, please step to the right. Now, are you sure you are what you said?

There was this question that someone recently popped up in a group discussion. Are you a person who thinks more or are you the type to feel instead. It was a concept that held up my brain that whole day- I was made confused. Which side was I on?

The first template that surfaced on my brain was I'm supposed to be a feeler. Mainly due to the fact that I like to associate myself with values of creativity and what I seem to set my life on. Then again, I found myself thinking,  I had always been thinking. I don't feel for inspirations, I think about ideas. That seems to be the species of human I have always been; putting a cold touch of logic into a warm cup of  mindless thought. I've convinced myself I'm no artist, I can't paint for nuts.

Which is more important, you feel that the answer is right or you think that the answer is right? By saying feeling means you have convinced yourself that you are absolutely sure in your senses. However, when you think, you have conjured up an equation of reasoning and logic that leads to your conclusion- if by no careless mistake, you will not be wronged.

But I can't say for sure I'm an all out thinker. Feeling for the right moment is also important. I can think of a composition of photo shot, but I can only feel for the right moment to snap the moment. At this point, I have yet to decide whether I'm the truly thinking guy or am I'm covering my mouth acting I'm in deep thought but I'm actually feeling otherwise.

It seems I'm into some weird concepts again, and I like to ponder about them. Usually I don't record them down but this time round I let it out for once before it goes lost in the universe of my mind. And one more point, we all knew the answer- it doesn't matter which side, they are just like yin and yang. I feel/think that we need both of them as humans and there is really no point arguing which is better.

This I know, is the best, just like that, for now.

We shall be healthy for a while.
I was been gifted a longer break of 4 and a half days from the army. More than happy, it was also payday, so here we went again(alcohol). Also for a long time, I always wanted to buy a pair of shades; Ray bans. What stood in the way of my desire was my face. I don't fit nice with them, just as caps. Not wanting to stay at home to be bothered by something like that, I took the camera out- a much healthier decision. And took back a decline to an outing with a group of old friends:

And I got them. Ray Bans Signet:

I'm a bug, also a bINNER:

Too old for surprises- she guessed them easily from the short absence of some people suddenly:

And Louis got them too (the next day), a pair of club master I had trouble deciding with my now-owned Signet RB. He suited that pair much. Happy boy. And with shades we set out to the place that I probably feel more at ease wearing mine- TBC:

Brunch for champs, Ben!:

Louis waste no time to get the best of his new toy after the sun finally decided to creep out of the overcast weather. It has been raining since late morning, but the magic of Sol beer always stay relevant in times like this:

My fav shot in this set:

This is good, warm and comfortable. We promise to stop all the alcohol binge till April. I can't guarantee any longer but a saying; learn to walk before taking flight. I have spent much more than the usual so I maybe opening cans(food). Also it seems that I've been meeting more people since the year started and I'm glad that it happens. I need  this.

I started writing in this post because all the pictures and no descriptions are getting a little plain for me. I may still continue with my old tradition but I'm getting comfortable with words in the set of photos. Pardon my grammar because I have not been practicing other than conversing with my friends. Keep Calm and Carry On.
